A successful landscape project requires a thorough design process to ensure every detail is taken into account. Each design is tailored to fit our client's needs, their aesthetic, lifestyle, and budget. Below are the different services we provide for residential and commercial projects.
Full Residential Landscape Design Service
This service is recommended for new homes, complete landscape renovations, projects that require landscape compliance plans for permitting approvals, and projects with a budget of $45,000 and above. Our design services have a flat fee with hourly fees for construction observation. Our process is provided below:
1. Inital Site Visit
This initial one-hour meeting allows us to get familiar with your site, determine the project's scope and your vision. It helps us identify the project's goal, budget, and timeline. Our initial site visit is free of charge.
3. Site Inventory and Analysis
The first step, prior to design, is an in depth site visit to identify all site conditions that will impact the landscape design. An evaluation of site factors such as site orientation, topography, built features, and site views are meticulously analyzed.
5. Landscape Plans
These detailed and scaled plans provide the necessary information to build the project. They ensure that the final result aligns with the design vision.
2. Design Proposal
Following our meeting, we will provide you with a landscape design proposal that outlines all the basic design services that will be provided. After the proposal is approved, we initiate the pre-design process.
4. Schematic Design
This phase includes the development of a conceptual landscape plan that focuses on the overall layout and big-picture ideas. In this phase is where we establish the vision, program, spacial relationships, aesthetic, and potential materials of the project.
6. Construction Observations
A minimum of 5 site visits are provided to ensure the construction of the project aligns with the design intent, meets required quality code standards, and is completed to the client's satisfaction.
Residential Landscape Design Consultation
For small planting areas that require a landscape refresh or outdoor renovations (smaller than 1,500 square feet) we recommend a landscape design consultation. Our landscape design consultations fees vary depending on the complexity of the project and are billed hourly. An initial site visit is provided and is followed up with a landscape plan that illustrates the proposed landscape and/or hardscape improvements. Upon request, we also provide construction observation services for these projects.
Full Commercial Landscape Design Service
This service is tailored for new commercial and large development projects that require approvals with municipalities within Central Texas. Our process includes the following steps: site inventory and analysis, schematic design, design development, compliance plans and approvals, construction documents, and construction observations.
